I know I’ve said it before, but every time I see photos that Beth Jukuri takes along her rural mail route, I’m reminded that not all “offices” are without a view. Beth has one of the best office locations all year round. Of course it’s not always a joy, especially when the weather is bad or in the spring, dealing with muddy roads, but today I’m thankful for Beth’s ability to capture the beauty as she’s delivering people’s mail. These were taken last week, showing the snowy branches along the way and look at the snowbanks already. The roads look barely able to accommodate two cars to pass by each other. I’m sure the snowplows will come along and push them back further. Beth also captured a flock of turkeys that thought they should run on ahead of her mail vehicle and some even took flight to get in front of her, like it was a race or something!

Turkeys are in our video feature today, too, from a yooper feeding the turkeys that hang out at his place during the winter months, waiting to be fed. Bonus: a few deer come and feed with them, too.

Beautiful Pic's and a neat video!! Looks like Beth is driving a Jeep, you go girl!! :=)) Really cool to feed the animals, I'd being doing that too if I lived U.P. there!! I feed the squirrels around here, Ms. Vic thinks they already have enough to eat, lol.

No more trips to the U until after the Holidays unless I hear otherwise. Feeling good and holding my own.
