Today’s photos come to us from a new Pasty Cam photographer, Liz Nebel Beckman. She captured the damage to Marquette’s Lakeshore Boulevard, after the storm Thanksgiving week. She added this commentary with her photos: “I have never seen this much destruction to Lakeshore Blvd. in my lifetime. This storm carved away large sections of the road and left a field of debris. We could hear the pounding of the waves last night but were shocked by what we saw this morning.” There must have been some dandy winds and waves beating up that Marquette shoreline to tear up the road and rip down signs like this. The power of Lake Superior is quite amazing and destructive all at the same time.

TV6 aired a segment about the aftermath of this destructive storm in Marquette and the mess that needed to be cleaned up and repaired.

That was quite a storm and damage. I wonder if there is any video of the wave action.

The only thing to say/consider on this past weeks weather:
