If you’ve been keeping up with the Pasty Cam this week, you know that we have some snow on the ground here in the Keweenaw. Today’s photos are a classic example of how quickly the weather does change around here, though. One day, Benji Hainault’s kids are jumping in the leaf piles they raked up and the next day, Mary Schmitt’s grandson and his friend are building a snowman, taller than either of them. I’ve got to tell you, though, I’m still holding out for a warm-up and this first snow to melt. Then it can come back again, closer to the first day of winter on the Pasty Cam calendar. A girl can dream, right?

Speaking of the Pasty Cam Calendar, the 2020 calendars should be in any day now, so make sure you get your order in to have it in time for January 1st. Click here to order pasties and your 2020 Pasty Cam Calendar

Today’s video made me laugh right out loud. This dog’s name is Stella and she sure loves to jump in leaf piles. Enjoy her antics and make sure you watch it to the end to see her final trick of the video.

That video was awesome. As far as the weather changes, I'm with Mary and hoping for the white stuff to melt.

Uncle Chuck, from what I heard, NMU was closed on Thursday, due to the weather and the predicted 10 more inches they were expecting. This is WAY too early for that much snow. We don't have quite that much, but have around 4 inches on the ground today.

Hysterical! Just remember to never pile those leaves around a telephone pole.

Hey UC, they never closed NMU when we were there, did they? Not even during the storm that took the Fitz down.
