Barbara Bouwkamp took a drive to the Lac La Belle area a couple weeks ago to check out what the colors were doing UP that way. She found quite an array of them behind the mailboxes that service the Lac La Belle and surrounding area. I like to refer to this spot as the Lac La Belle Post Office. Only thing missing is the counter to buy stamps and mail packages.

Her second photo is Haven Falls as you first come into Lac La Belle. Check out the colors decorating the top of the falls there. Absolutely gorgeous.

Just a reminder, the colors have for the most part finished up, but we’re still going to enjoy more fall photos here on the Pasty Cam. Most folks wish that fall would last a little longer, so their wish is the Pasty Cam command. That’s just what we’ll do.

Today’s video was recorded by brockit, inc., to give you all a taste of what a daily drive in the Keweenaw looks like in the fall. It was made on a rainy, autumn day this week, making the road shiny and somewhat reflective, too.
