Brita Haapala from Brita Caroline Photography took advantage of a day without rain this week, for a walk on the trails near Fulton. The colors are still hanging on in some places, but much of the leaves have already fallen and are covering the ground. That’s the beauty of the Pasty Cam, though, we can still enjoy fall colors even after the peak has passed, thanks to the many photographers that share their photos with us all.

Today’s video was made just up the road from today’s photos, uploaded by brockit, inc. We’re visiting Centennial #6, near Centennial location, which was the last mine to be in operation in the region, having operated from 1867 to 1968. Enjoy this fall flight over what remains of the operation.

Beautiful. Autumn has not even started here in Northern Illinois.

I see that a Big Blow is starting to happen on Lake Superior this afternoon. Only one Salty showing movement on Marine Traffic website. All others have sought safe harbor. Every stay safe but hopefully get some good video and pictures.

Beautiful pic's!! Reminds me of hunting in that area around Thayer's Lake with my Uncle Tem Ahonen and all the guys! Can't wait to get back U.P. and see it again first hand!! Thanks for the color tour!

Hadn't looked at the Marine Traffic in a long while. I noticed that the Arthur Anderson is back in service, very cool to see!!

When calling on the hospital in the Soo, it seemed like I always saw either the American Spirit or the Roger Blough going thru the Locks. I would sit there and watch until they went all the way thru and were under power again, fascinating!!

So beautiful. It would be nice if the wind would
stay away so the leaves stay on the tree a little
longer.
