With the sunshine warming things up a bit here in the Copper Country, more folks are getting out and about again. Karen Anderson Ham made a Keweenaw tour this past weekend, taking a shot of Eagle River flowing once again, with the Phoenix Church in the background. Originally St. Mary’s church, built in 1858 in the mining community of Cliff, services continued there until 1899, when the church was dismantled and reassembled in Phoenix, changing the name to the Church of the Assumption. Masses were held there until 1959. It is now deconsecrated, but is still used for weddings and memorial services.
Karen’s second photo was taken just down the road on M26, as you drive towards Eagle River. That’s the Ten Foot Falls on Eagle River, which is easily accessible, just a few yards off the road. Nice to see the river opening up and running again.

On her stop there at the falls, Karen also took a short video, so we can get a feel for the falls and hear the river as it runs on by.

Nice photos, the top one of the Phoenix Church, only time I've been there sadly is for multiple memorials. Last summer for my last aunt on my mom's side, Aunt Ilene Newell (Vuolle), they're all gone now, all ten!! Hard to believe. The waterfall pic & video is making me wish I could see it first thing tomorrow morning!! Spectacular!!

There is, however, more number of Protestant churches than Catholic churches in Phoenix. Even more surprising is that there are ninety Lutheran churches situated here for people of Germanic origin. But, there are hardly 10% of the city's inhabitants who are Germans.Marriage counseling has become almost a neighborhood of any church. All Churches whether or not they are big and little have counseling service centers for families, individuals, and therefore the most vital , children who are affected the foremost thanks to discord between couples.get more about my Cheap Essay Writing Service The "Mosaic Counseling and Family Services" have trained counselors who help people with care and love. Really? I count exactly one church in Phoenix (circled on this map):
Phoenix Church

More to the point, we'd appreciate it if you would just refrain from littering this neighborhood with your spam!
