We start out the archive tour today in the Marquette area. First with a look at the Dead River Bridge, from Rick Manthei back in 2004. This 271 foot, one lane bridge was bought in 1919. It crossed the Allegheny River upstream from Pittsburgh, PA at the time and was disassembled and transported to Marquette County. In 1921 it was erected in its present location carrying traffic on Co. Rd. 510 (formerly M-35), over the Dead River.

The next shot was taken by E. Neil Harri in 2010. It holds so much color, that it's unbelievable...you're looking toward the southeast, across Yellow Dog Plains and that's the Eagle Mining project in the distance.

The third photo, snapped in 2015, sure made me chuckle, that’s Joy Ziemnick’s hubby, Jim, who looks like he’s running for his life from the historical railroad snowplow behind him. Such a fun photo, I bet Joy and Jim shared a number of laughs while creating this scene.

Another runner in our fourth shot. That’s Judy Byykkonen’s granddaughter who was hiking with Judy and her family just a few days ago, enjoying it with the eyes of a child, running freely and with abandon down the little hill, smiling from ear to ear. This little lady knows how to live!

Our video is all about running, today, too, not feet though, but water. We’re taking an aerial tour of the Tahquamenon Falls near Paradise, with Upper Limits Media.

Truly magnificent! Wish I could be there, but this is the next best way.
