The Pasty Cam
Week of September 13 - 19, 1998
Saturday night, September 19

A first for the Pasty Cam.  Prior to beginning this daily feature, the last night-time shots were taken last winter during the snow carnival.

(It's a rainy evening in the Keweenaw.)

Friday, September 18

Although the sun has obviously moved south, today feels like mid-July again.  Still some warm days left to stroll (or 4-wheel) along Lake Superior.  Bet we have another beautiful sunset tonight.

(ye olde Pasty Cam never grows tired of this stuff)

(WEATHER ADVISORY: Clouds moved in by evening... sunset was cancelled)

Thursday, September 17

The folks from Michigan Bicycling Tours enjoy a morning ride along M-26 near Phoenix.   Still a bit hazy, a slight nip in the air.

(streaks of color becoming more visible)

 Wednesday, September 16

More sunshine today, looking up Calumet Avenue (US 41).  Notice the slight trace of red in the upper left corner?  The change has begun...

(sorry to see summer leaving, but looking forward to the transformation of this street in the next few days)

Ever wonder where the Pasty Cam lives?  Click on the picture to see the whole view out the bedroom window of PC's home.

(PASTYVISION strikes again)

 Monday, September 14

One stand of golden trees in a sea of green... color is just starting.  By the way, the Douglass Houghton monument was written up in the Daily Mining Gazette last week.

(Did you know there is a stone for each county in Michigan?)

Sunday, September 13

In the heart of the Keweenaw
is a place called "Bumbletown".
This weekend the Pasty Cam
climbed Bumbletown Hill.
Up here your head almost
touches the clouds in today's...
