Crowd at the Fair

The smell of the animals, the music of the rides, the taste of cotton candy, and cheese curds, and... uhhh... I don't feel so good. I always party 'til I'm sick when me and Eino go to da fair. And this year was a big one in Hancock at da fairgrounds - lots of folks from as far away as Munising and Hurley (which is what I felt like when I rode the Tilt-a-whirl. Hurly, that is).

These fine folks are watchin' some guy straddle a 1800 pound bull. Not my idea of a fun mode of transportation. It's not so much the flight through the air, but that sudden stop when you reach the ground.

Now me and Eino prefer the four-wheeled rides instead of the four legged ones. You may have seen some of that on the Pasty Cam back in '98 at the fair (which was the same year we had our big strike):
