Last Sunday the Pasty Cam reported on a wedding near Marquette, and today we return for a birds-eye view of the Harbor. Whenever I hear that phrase, it reminds me of one of the fine sponsors which helps make this daily feature possible, Bird's Eye Creations. (Suppose it's not too early to be thinking of Father's Day :o)

As you may know, Pasty Central expanded a couple of years ago to include local Internet dial-in service for the Keweenaw, PastyNET. While we have experienced phenomenal growth in our Copper Country membership, we've also seen an increasing number of requests to bring the same dependable, affordable ISP service to the Marquette area. Who knows? Maybe we'll be spending more time in the Queen City one of these days.

A bit of trivia: Has anybody ever heard of the "Queen City Flyers"?

I could'nt have said it better myself Sam from AL.! Thank You for the photo too! We'll be visiting the Queen City this summer. Can't wait to get there and smell the pines & listen to the waves of LK Superior. Hoping to make it to the Copper Country also! :)

Ah, lake trout fresh from the market in lower harbor....a drive around Presque Isle, home of the sacred white deer.....the smell of the Bunny Bread bakery. Our neighbor in Covington had never been further than Marquette, once, in his whole life and that was a huge trip for him! If you were admitted to St. Mary's Hospital you were considered to be "gravely ill" and probably wouldn't live (to be sent that far!) It's a 65 mile journey but if you remember the old highway, it was quite a deal. I'd love to see a picture of Three Lakes, a highlight of the trip. Thanks for evoking memories.
