Good morning :) It sure is nice to look outside and see beautiful snow on the ground...we didn't get that much...but at least enough to cover up all that blahness and brown.

Intermittent power outages this morning in Genesee. They started as soon as I was done blow-drying my hair. Went to work (a few blocks away) at school & they kept up there. It'd come on for a couple minutes, then go out again and this kept up for about an hour. They almost had to send the kids home, but it would be colder there. The school retains the heat more than our homes. Seems OK now.

According to my boss, there was a power outage in Canton, too. Between the garage door opener not working and the door being iced shut, she had some trouble getting her car out and got in a bit late.

I agree with Sur5er, it's nice to see white. But if they're right about tomorrow's temperature it'll be melted in short order.

Sur5er, Enjoy the snow. According to the local weather people it will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. Darn!!! Of course, they have been wrong about things a few times in the past. It was so pretty this morning with the snow hanging on the trees and everything else.

Charlotte and Kathyrn, Yep, the warm temps are coming tomorrow to take our snow away.
I went to the truck stop to meet hubby for a bit...and all the semis had thick ice covering their front ends. Hubby said that it rained...then snowed...then ice was involved...all across the state of Ohio last night.

It has been 1 year today for the passing of my Grandfather Paul E. Siira. We miss you Grandpa!!

Looks like our snow dancing worked. It has been snowing here all darn day. I love it. Great for snow shoeing. I think my hubby and I will have to break trail for the first time in a long time. That should be fun. I bet the MTU statue makers are really glad the snow is falling.

How do you get to today's messages? I've been up for hours and can only find Wednesday's messages! Anyway, mornin'. Love the pictures. As long as I lived up there, I've never been to the porcupine mountains. But my husband really wants to go so I'm assuming some day we'll get there. Have a great day!
