This is one of the earlier engines in the Copper Country, the Kitchigami, part of Calumet & Hecla Mining Company's H&TLRR (Hecla and Torch Lake R.R.).  The line ran strictly from Mine Street to the stamps in Lake Linden.
This 2-8-0 engine was built by Baldwin in 1885 for the narrow gauge system of C&H and weighed 85 tons.

I've also shown some additional engines that were owned by C&H at different times.
