Thanks, Pasty-camist Thomas Simpson, for wonderful shots of one of our favorite UP camping and hiking areas! As we swelter in the late summer sun in California, it's visually and spiritually refreshing to see Lake Superior in all her splendor. We'll have to wait to see her in person until next summer.

Wow, that brings back memories of two summers ago and then a few before that. Pictured Rocks is beautiful. Its so nice to see things stay the same for years and years. The way God intended I believe.

Unable to post a note immediately after uploading the pictures... Actually, the big picture on top was from Thomas Simpson, and the other smaller ones I took for the Pasty Cam back in 1998. The lady with the headband is my wife Edie. We were on our way back from downstate and had a chance to spend some time in the Munising area.

Let me say a special thanks to all who share your thoughts here on Cam Notes. When I'm not able to comment on a given day's shot, I appreciate the many web-friends who do. And a special thanks to the regular contributors of the pictures by email. My inbox is a virtual tour of the U.P.!! I wish we could share them all, please keep them coming in.
