Tuesday-What'sUP March 12 - 09:28 am

Joy Ziemnick sent in today's photos with her husband Jim shoveling out their dog kennel after being out of town for awhile. She said it really filled up, so it gave his muscles a good workout moving all that snow. I love that first shot, with the snow flying off his shovel and Diesel laying there patiently waiting for him to finish clearing his space.

That second shot, gives you an idea of how deep the snow was that Jim had to shovel out…more like carve out of the kennel area. At least Diesel's doghouse is well insulated now, with all that snow packed around it.

After that job was finished, all three of them took a nice walk on Lake Superior, with Diesel sporting what Joy describes as a "pretty jaunty" blue coat. I bet it kept him nice and toasty, along with his natural furry coat underneath. Joy says he still enjoys romping around and does pretty well for being over 11 years old now. Must be living on the shores of Lake Superior and breathing all that fresh U.P. air!

I'd say that Joy's hubby, Jim, and doggie, Diesel, are in great shape. Love that breed of dog!

Everybody needs to be shoveled out UP there! Our yard looked like a hamster maize after shoveling paths for Brimley. 4 inch long legs can go through so much snow!

That dog is adorable. My dogs can still walk over
my fence so i cannot let them out as much as they
would like.I thoroughly enjoyed the pictures today!

Diesel says he would've helped Dad shovel out the kennel but he doesn't have thumbs to hold the shovel! He thanks everyone for the nice comments.
