Remember the old McDonald's in downtown Houghton? Which shot in today's review was taken inside that establishment?

2003. I loved those stained glass hangings.

Those stained glass pieces that used to be decorating McDonald's in downtown Houghton were so unique ... anyone know where they might be now?

Seems like there is a new McDonald's up the hill that has at least one of these pieces on display. Anyone know for sure?

That McDonald's was a favored pit-stop on the way to Copper Harbor. It had a nice upper-level parking lot in the back that looked out on to the canal.

Big whiteout in Ontonagon today. Went to Silver City....a fourteen mile trip and it took us 40 minutes. Heikki heard our call for help.

The temp right now is 3°, the warmest it's been all day....but, we have snow!!!!

I wish to announce that at 2:58 P.M. today I recieved one awsome gift a brand new great-grand daughter, Gracie Helen Mae Qualls.7#-10oz. , 19 in long. WOW.

What a wonderful gift, Dean. Welcome to the World, Baby Girl!

Frigid here today! Couldn't get my pasty fix before I had to leave this morning because our internet was out. Sure are a lot of nice snow pictures today. I love the deer picture.

There are several of those stained-glass pix at McDonald's up the hill in Houghton, on the way to South Range. Always enjoyed them. The cold wave is getting worse, right now we have -13°F in Cornell. Would feel better if there were a few more inches of snow to insulate the ground and water pipes, etc. With the wind blowing so hard, the wind-chill must be -20 or -25°.
