In which decade was Eagle River founded?

Founded in 1843.

Top of the morning all. That date is barely visible... 1843 or 1842 can't see the last number on my screen.

I agree with Janie - 1843. Wow, a long time ago but really just a drop when you consider all of history.

Technically Eagel River was founded in the 1840's decade. Is that what you're looking for???

I am guessing this is a trick question??? Decades are a 10 year period and 1800's is a 100 year period.

Michigan History Magazine's May/June issue has a picture of the Quincy Dredge #2 on the cover. Inside there are several photos and a 5 page article titled: Mining What the Miners Left Behind.

Eagle River was founded in the 5th decade of the 19th century. Something tells me Charlie isn't just quite satisfied with any of the answers yet.....

Charlie went back to bed and I don't blame him one bit. That's what I will be doing on April 18, 2012. What decade is that?
