On Monday, we had an all morning rain, that turned into foggy skies in the afternoon hours. Aladino Mandoli was out and about, doing what he does best...capturing what it looked like in the Marquette area. That first shot was taken looking west, off the CR510 bridge over the Dead River. Even when the sun isn't shining brightly and the landscape is shrouded with fog, it's still a beautiful place to be surrounded by. No matter the season, the beauty is the reason, we love the U.P.

Love Aladino's pictures!! These ones are no exception!

I love the pictures. The joke is on me, though, with the second one, titled "Forked Branch". When I saw that title, before I saw the photo, I was thinking forked branch of a river, not a forked branch of a tree (shown), lol.

Marianne...me too!

I always do enjoy a bit of fog.

Yes, there was quite a lot of fog on Monday, but it still makes
things beautiful. Mind you, Sunday was stunning. While we were at
our daughter's place in the Ishpeming vicinity, we enjoyed sunning
ourselves in the backyard while our grandson, sporting jeans and a
tee shirt, was sledding down the driveway. There were even a few
crocuses beginning to sprout on the sunny side of the house. It
was an enjoyable March Break.

That is so true. No matter what season, the UP is beautiful! Last summer we were in Glacier Park, Montana. We met up with some folks driving all of HWY 2, they had been UP in the Porcupine Mountains. They said they felt the Porky's were just as beautiful as Glacier.
Yes, I can agree with that. Great Photos today!
