Beginnings and endings... we're still in the beginnings of 2012, but we've come to the end of January already. Tradition here at the Pasty Cam is to set aside the last day of each month, to remember loved ones and friends that have left us too soon. For this month, we hold in memory the following folks:

Remembering my neighbor, Wally Mueller, who passed away a year ago this month. He is with me in my heart, daily. Also my dear childhood friend, Mary Moran, who passed away last week. I am so thankful for so many great memories with these two wonderful people who lived simplistic lives. They were "HAPPY" people and passed their joy to everyone they came in contact with.

I have nobody special to remember in the month of January, at least not that I can think of, so I will remember my family members who have passed. I think about them so much and miss them terribly!

Remebering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew " The Chief" Churchill, Rosie Churchill, our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in and friend Wayne Hartmann, our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto and our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann who left us a year ago this month. We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering my Dad, George Kentala, who went home in August. Miss you every day Dad.

Please remember my wife Kay who pass away in her sleep on the 21st. We were married for 34 years and Kay was a loving wife and mother.
We have so many fond memories of your trips to the Copper Country and to Copper Harbor.

John, may the Lord comfort you in your grief over the loss of your sweet wife, Kay, and thank Him every day for the wonderful memories you have of your times together. I lost my husband almost 9 months ago, after a marriage of 56 years. This grief is always there.

John, my sincere sympathy to you on the very recent loss of your wife.

You have my deepest sympathy, John.

I am also sorry for your loss, Shirley.

May they both rest in peace until you meet again.

Remembering my sweet sister Susan Jane Rosbury-Mehrman, she would have been 49 yesterday. Tragically killed on a snowmobile the last day of 2011.

Missing my Mom and Dad, Poochie and Nicki Dennis, who would have been married 50 years on Jan 6, 2012. Forever in our hearts and our memories, love you Mom and Dad.

Micheal, Bootjack: I'm also a gal passionate to snowmobiling, and as that I send my most sincere condolences to you. I feel as I lost a *sister* in the love of snowmobiling. God's Blessings to you and your family.

In memory of a neighbor Herman Entenmann, and an uncle, Lee Wiggins, who both died in Jan. 1970, an aunt, Marie Wiggins, who died Jan. 1981, and my Aunt Ellie who died Jan. 2009.

Death seems so far away. It's not but sometimes we think it is. Then things happen that bring us back on point. My prayers go out to you all. Awesome pic!

Remembering my dad Mitchell who passed away 32 years ago this month still missed by all who knew him.

On January 17, 1985 my beloved "daddy" was released from his coma and freed to ever lasting peace with our Lord. He used to call me his "chip from the old block". Miss him even after all these years, still his little (elderly) girl. Dads are like that.

Remembering my Mom who passed away a year ago on January 26th......I miss her more every day.

Those we love don't go away.....they walk beside us every day.......unseen, unheard, but always near......still loved, still missed and always dear.
