Regarding yesterday's discussion ......
from
Sara Paddison, The Hidden Power of the Heart
"Being vulnerable doesn't have to be threatening. Just have the courage to be sincere, open and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives." and from Carl W. Buechner
"They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel."

Just took a look at some photos of the Winter Carnival ice scupltures. Looks like the students are busy all night long. Great shots! But what's up with deep fried twinkies?

Troll w/connections: I know, the snow sculptures are beautiful. I was up last night till the wee hours and I checked the cams at about 4am and they were still busy working on the sculptures. What dedication, eh.

Finally, cold temps and snow have returned to Indiana...and snow is forcasted for the rest of the week. Yes!

I have my Kromer, Swampers, Malones packed. I have a full tank of gas and ready to head up to Winter Carnival. Dinner at the Pilgrim Steak House after the hockey game. I will be taking pictures of the Queen riding the Zamboni. Life is perfect!

Troll: Great site. Thanks, will take the site to school with me tomorrow. I've got students that haven't seen snow like that in their life time.
