Morning.
I'm looking for an old fairytale book about a gnome. I have no idea what it's called, who wrote it, or when it was published. All I know is one line from it contains, '...the waggle and the wog and the cantaluna dog...' Anyone remember it?

Hi editors and cammers, just want to let everyone know that after I ordered some calendars I got the confirmation from Pasty. But then I got a 'spam' email from 'waho' called "your 2006 PC calendar order." Didn't open it, of course.

happyooper -- Did you google that line?

By happyooper (Trigal) on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 03:05 pm:

Yeah, Ert, I did. And I finally found what I was looking for, although my words are a little off. :)

By WishingIWasInDaUP (Sur5er) on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 03:20 pm:

HappYooper, So what was the name of the book? I searched online for you, and couldn't find it. So now I am curious, as to its title ;)

By happyooper (Trigal) on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 03:38 pm:

'Young Years: Best Loved Stories & Poems for Little Children', published in 1971. The poem I was looking for was called 'The Little Gnome'. I thought it was a separate book, but this little guy comes in a big, beefy, 3-inch book!

I hope it's OK to post this here. The only reason I am, is because there were a dozen or so of y'all who asked when my album, (which was sold out), was going to be available again.

You can get it at www.harrison-entertainment.com and I appreciate the interest of so many of you here at Pasty. (Remember, my stage name is A.J. Harrison, so don't be surprised when you don't see Alex Tiensivu).

Thanks again for the interest. I really appreciate it!

Alex, How amazing that you worked on the After School specials...I used to love watching those...and could never figure out why they discontinued the series. And yes, like you, I was also touched by Ryan White's story/plight. For some reason...and I don't know why...I thought his fight to attend school began in Florida. About a year ago, I was watching the Ryan White Story on TV, and was shocked to learn that Ryan's fight began in Indiana, where I now reside...how sad.

I am still touched to this day about Ryan. It is an experience I will never forget. It started in Kokomo and ended up in Cicero. It was all in Indiana. Thanks for the comments!
