Sorry, I missed yesterday. I had never heard that all mushrooms are poisonous dependent upon the consumer - yikes!
My Grandpa Pete showed me how to draw on the shelf mushrooms that grow the sides of trees. Using a pencil with the mushroom as your canvas you can create "natural" art. I still have some that is almost 40 years old!

Oh, by the way, the Free Press article said there was the Estivant Pine Sanctuary with giant white pines in it. Does anyone have pictures of that?

Here are a couple pictures from our Labor Day weekend visit to the Estivant Pines. They really don't show the majestic size of these trees that are up to 300 years old.
