Winter is once again upon us here in the Keweenaw and across the U.P., if I'm not mistaken. Just in time for Thanksgiving vacation too, so the kids (and us kids at heart) can enjoy getting back into winter activities like building snowmen, sledding and skiing. This trio belonging to Krista Poirier, look ready for another snowy past-time, a good old fashioned snowball fight! Around the corner from these happy youngsters, a snow laden tree stands proudly holding onto it's fluffy cargo. Which reminds me of one more thing to do in the snow... wait for just the right time, give one of those covered branches a good yank and dump the load on an unsuspecting friend!

Early Bird again! Wish we had snow to play in here,

Wow! Much, much more snow UP there than here in Corunna! We've got just about and inch of the white stuff and I see on the long range forcast they are calling for one day of 60 degree weather here!!!! Oh, to live in Michigan in the winter! As the saying goes, if you don't like the weather here in Michigan, wait a minute, it's sure to change! Happy shopping day to everyone!

I missed posting yesterday, but one of the things I am very thankful for is this wonderful website!! It's very cold here in Flint and the ground is icy. I almost fell taking out the garbage this morning. I hope all have a safe and happy weekend.

Krista, What a bunch of happy kiddies you have. They sure do seem to be in their element, in the snow :)
And Mary, who would have thought that sweet innocent you, would restort to the 'snow dump' tactic. I laughed so hard when I read that.
We're still waiting for snow here. Everywhere around us is getting snow, but us...and we are missing it by just a mile or two. :(
Linda, your post reminds me of one of the songs that some DJs in Michigan used to play when it was slippery outside: "Slip Slide, and Away..."

Mary says: Aww...I'm blushing with innocence here now, Sur5er! Thanks for the vote of confidence in my sweetness too! I actually learned that trick from a good friend who shall remain nameless (Debbie)..oops, did I say that outloud? :->

What I wouldn't give for just ONE little inch of snow! But I'm stuck in Georgia! I am SO misplaced!
