Good morning everyone. Was up at 4:30am... compliments of Da Abbi. Anywho, it was warm out that early in the morning (65)...and is supposed to get up to almost 80 degrees this afternoon. If it doesn't rain, I may be able to get one more weekend out of the pool, before taking it down for the summer. ;)

Mornin' good day for a parade!

Here is another good thing about today. There's no chance of
the Lions losing. Still have to worry about the Packers
though>After last week it is clearer than ever that the Pack has
to find Fuzzy and Jerry and suit them up to protect Bart. Those
guys might be in their 70s now, but they would still be an
improvement on those rookies in there. Hey, we in Adrian are
pretty proud after seeing a 2-page photo in this week's SI of an
end from Adrian catching a pass for the powerhouse Spartans
last week. He is only a freshman too.

Oops, I meant the Pack need those two old guards to protect
Bret -- not Bart.

Ms. Katie,
I made your Tomato Casserole this evening...and it was so delish, that hubby and I finished off the entire dish in one sitting. Thank you for the recipe :-)

What another rotten day for the Packers. Had to walk outside quite a few times during the game so I didn't pop my stitches. Oh well,3 and 0, there still MIGHT be time to do some winning!!! MAYBE..... On the bright side Jimmie Johnson won the nascar race. Gordon's partener thank goodness somebodys happy. Good Night... been a long day.

Progress has it's price - guess so, and if it were only the regret for an era that's passed, that'd be great.
Anyway, imagine travelling UP by train instead of by car.
Any volunteers?
Should the copper north of the bridge become worth mining for again, perhaps the days of trains on the bridge would come back. As long as it's affordable to reconstruct the necessary infrastructure ...?
But then it'd perhaps be more affordable to build piers somewhere, and ship by ship. Ok, ore boat.
