PEWABIC ALL SCHOOL REUNION: Did you attend the old Pewabic School? If so, on Saturday, August 6, 2005, at the Quincy FireHall, there will be an informal reunion of ALL who attended the school. Right now the goal is to create a guest list of people we can contact about the event. Your part in this is to send along an e-mail to: hmchamber@webtv.net (Helen Aittama Chamberlain), with names and addresses, if you have any, of others you remember who attended the school when you did.

THANKS, and really looking forward to seeing you at the Pewabic School reunion.

Everyone, please pray for the Pope as he enters Eternal Life soon.... no need to be Catholic to say a prayer. Someday, you may need someone to pray for you in your time of need!

By Fran,Ga on Saturday, April 2, 2005 - 11:55 am:

Yes, please say a prayer for the Pope. He was a man who loved all people. My Mom and the last Pope were buried on the same day.

His Holiness John Paul II passes on, at the age of 84.

Karol Józef Wojtyla , known as John Paul II since his October 1978 election to the papacy, was born in Wadowice, a small city 50 kilometres from Cracow, on May 18, 1920.

Thank You Mary Drew for the insight of Pope John Pauls life! Very interesting knowledge for those
who have not kept up with the life of the Pope.

Today we have lost a very brave and loved man, John Paul. The man who takes his place shall have some very big shoes to fill. God bless John Paul.

Mary, thanks for the article on Pope John Paul. He was a strong man and a man of the people. May he rest in peace.
