Congratulations on your 14 years. Another fine slide show, especially the Winter scenes + the store window decorated 4 Christmas.

Good morning from Minnesota. We need more snow down here to make for a White Christmas!

No problem choosing my favorites this morning...the kitty "decorating helper" and the locomotive! Michael A., you need more snow in Minn.? When we lived in your part of the country (ND) we always had lotsa snow by this time of year. The first winter we were there (1981) it started snowing on Thanksgiving Day and we didn't see the ground until late April of '82. We had winters like that every year for three years! After that we moved to Calif. and then had to go to the mts. to see snow.:)

Michael A (Maa) You need snow? So does Ontonagon and a lot of places in the UP. It feels like spring today.

Shirley, sounds like you have been all over. Bet you have some stories.

Tried to get to Ironwood today, the fog was pea soup, roads were good except for patches of black ice. Turned around in Bergland and came home.

From experience, Hollidays, I know what Michigan fogs are like and that dreaded black ice. Yes, we've pretty much covered this country and enjoyed every bit of it. But speaking of fogs....the worst I've ever seen were in Bakersfield, CA. I know this may be hard to imagine but a fella went out one morning to walk his dog, and walked into a tree. First place we ever lived where foglights were a requirement!(oo)

Don't mean to be overstaying my welcome on this page today, but I wanted to thank you, mickill, for your suggestion of adding cheese to a pasty. Did that today. Yummmy Thanks!

Speaking of fog in southern California, there was a massive wreck week, that involved 18 semis! What a mess that one was!

Love the snowy shores and the snow covered branches today. And window shopping is the perfect Christmas picture. Love the train and kitty, too!!

Thanks!

No snow here in MN either. We went to town to see the Christmas train last night. That was awesome! What a sight to see that was! First time it's been warm enough for me to venture out to see it. There was quite the crowd there...lots of kids in strollers. It was a beautiful night. Can't believe it'll continue for too much longer, though. Enjoy it while we can. They say there's a good possibility we won't have snow for Christmas. I've only seen that once in 1986.
