2006. Great pics as usual, 2.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 08:18 am:

I know, right Thomas? I especially liked the exotic looking fungi.

Have a bowling tournament to leave for today. Should be fun. It's windy and cold today but I think it's supposed to warm up. Hope so. I'm liking this November weather so far. Hope it continues!!!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 08:25 am:

Good Morning! I hope you all have a good weekend; it's supposed to be a nice fall day here today. UC: I'll be thinking about you and Marty and your annual trek to the woods UP north. I'm really sorry about how things worked out with LB for you! This year will be different, very different from before, but you can start new traditions for a while, until things work out that you can get a new place! [I might add that when my Mom died, my brother had very different ideas from what was in her will. Fortunately, my parents foresaw possible problems, and made me co-executor, so he couldn't get away with it all. I ended up with the farm, and he ended up with all of the money. He always thought he needed the best of everything, but I have the Century Farm.] Have a great time, and above all, Be Safe UP there! (My youngest son will be busy today playing in Tech's Pep Band, with home football and hockey games. Go Huskies!)

"Good Morning"- Got to sleep in this morning.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 08:56 am:

My gosh, Lulu, you call being up at 8:44, 'sleeping in'? ;D

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 09:05 am:

forgot to mention the 'slideshow' the 'quiet camping'....wish my house was that size....could stand in one spot and clean.;)

By Donna (Donna) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 09:30 am:

OMG Shirley...wouldn't that be awesome? LOL

Great the fungi too, but I am partial to Lakes football...that's an awesome shot....GO LAKES...

By DEAN SCHWARTZ SR. (Lulu) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 09:32 am:

When I get up at 3:30 A.M. during the work week, you could say that I got to sleep in a little. My dog "Lulu" wakes me up on the week-end's but my wife closed the bedroom door this morning. I'll be in "God's country" next week for my cousin's wedding. I have a coupon for the Hut, I plan on using then. Everyone have a super weekend.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 10:47 am:

oops!....sorry I addressed you by your doggie's name, Dean. I understand your 'sleeping in' now. Enjoy your visit UP there next week! God speed!

By Tom (Tom) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 12:18 pm:

Anyone remember the snow sticks that were put out to mark a trail from one house to another? If everyone followed the sticks eventually the path was well panked down. But later in the winter the
wind would blow snow away from the panked trail and was tricky to trudge along. From our house to Grandma's sauna----------long time ago.

By DEAN SCHWARTZ SR. (Lulu) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 02:17 pm:

Shirley, "Lulu" is my log in name. I have no problem being addrssed as Lulu. I'am looking foward to our trip, they are saying there might be a covering of snow for late next week. I know that we will enjoy the trip.

Finally found out the "Four Nos Of November" UP here. The remaining answer should have been number ONE.

2) NO leaves
3) NO birds
4) NO shave (Hunters stop shaving)

Alex was pretty close when he said, "No motorcycles". Bikers hate those bugs hitting them in the face. :)

Hey Capt, did that earthquake that hit Oklahoma affect you at all?

By Ken ja Mimi from da UP (Kenjamimi) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 - 11:16 pm:

I didn't see any mention about turning our clocks back one hour tonight. Maybe some of us will wait until 2:00am? :o) Have a nice Sunday, Hei hei.
