We rarely see igloos on the Pasty Cam, but on this day over the past 14 years we have seen two. Which years?

I'm doing much better Hollidays! Everyday gets a bit better. Today our daughter's Dachshund had the same ruptured disk surgery. He's doing pretty good too!

"I remember"......digging into the snow drifts between our neighbors house and ours, back in Milwaukee. These were our versions of a snow house, sorta like an igloo. Also had pretend soda fountains with make believe scoops of different ice cream toppings. Oh what fun. Can't compare to todays' kids electronic games by a long shot!

As a kid there was an empty field next to our house, with one house next to our house and the field. We use roll snowballs back and forth til we could not roll them anymore. We decided to try and roll one of the big, huge snowballs over to the front yard. The only problem we encountered was the snowball got a little bigger over to our front yard and it got stuck in front of the neighbors front yard instead, right at the walkway. Our neighbor was none to happy about this and we had to chop it up and take it back to the field. I seem to remember that neighbor was not very fond of kids. Oh Well...we still had fun. My mom use to carve things out of the huge snowballs, things like animals, people and just had fun.

You people are so lucky. When I was a kid, we couldn’t afford snow. But it was okay because we had a neighbor who would give me all the snow I could carry out of his driveway...for free.
