Try Silver Mountain in Baraga sometime...800+ steps...one way! I have a friend that took me up and down that thing, and my legs hurt so bad the next day I could hardly walk! I told my doc "I think she tried to kill me"...he said "She didn't do a very good job of it...did she?" LOLOL

We're so excited to welcome our newest grandchild...Alyssa Colette was born this morning at 4:42 a.m. (California time), along freeway SR94 in San Diego, by her DADDY! Thank God for his Search and Rescue EMT training and for HIS guidance in the safe and healthy birth of our Granddaughter!

The 2005 photo is interesting in that I am going through my photos from Thetford Mines, Quebec over the summer trying to identify all the shafthouses around that area. The Thetford Mines/Black Lake, Quebec region is the largest producer of asbestos in the western world, so as can be expected there are a lot of abandoned and operating mines in the area, including a fantastic guided open pit mine tour.

"Congratulations", Mary on the brand new grand-daughter. We are waiting for a great grand baby sometime early in Dec.
