Tuesday. The 29th happened to fall on Tuesday in 1929.

I just read a story about 'black Friday sales' and I guess it was still stuck in my head when I gave my first answer.

Good morning, everybody! It's a great day to be a kid in our neck of the woods today. They get to put their costumes on and go trick-or-treating at all of the businesses in town from 3 - 5. THEN they get to go again on Halloween!! How fun is that? Sure didn't happen when I was a kid! Parents love it because they know their kids are safe today.

A couple of big lake boats have been riding at anchor offshore of
the Muskegon breakwater this evening. I don't ever remember
seeing so many deck lights all clustered together like that
offshore. One of them just headed out into the open lake,
heading west.
