Looks like 2005 to me!

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 07:58 am:

Can you tell i don't regard her as one of Michigan's greatest artists? ;-0

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 08:03 am:

I remember Madonna when she went to Rochester Adams HS and later when she dated my friend’s roommate in Oxford, MI.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 08:12 am:

Oh "papa don't preach", she's just a "material girl" without the "vogue", just lots of money.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 08:19 am:

Alex...was Madonna popular in high school?

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 10:30 am:

JT...No more or less popular, she was just your average teenager back then. All I remember is that she could dance really well.
I also remember at a Halloween party in Oxford, I showed up dressed as a police officer and scared half of the kids out of the house. Madonna and her boyfriend left out of a first-floor bedroom window before I could say anything and that was the last time I saw her.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 10:36 am:

Funny story Alex!

JT ~ let's just say i prefer Uncle Ted, even more for his view of things these days than his music!

By Tom (Tom) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 11:06 am:

That was pretty sly-----Madonna. I wonder how many other readers don't use that name for Mary???

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 11:36 am:

Hi all! Deb S and Mr Deb, I heard that part of Minnesota is under a Tornado Warning. I hope you and your family stay safe!

By Gary Hookway (Ghookway) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 12:22 pm:

I, too, prefer "Uncle Ted" to Madonna.....musically as well as life in general !

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 01:10 pm:

Uncle Ted as in Ted Nuggent? Heck yes to his music! Anyone remember Ted as the awesome guitarist for The Amboy Dukes, "Journey to the Center of the Mind"?

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 04:44 pm:

Great. The toad reminds me of when I would get frogs and toads and put them in empty coffee cans and make holes with a can opener on the lid so they could breathe.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 09:01 pm:

Is there any other Uncle Ted?

OK, so there are a few million people who actually HAVE an Uncle Ted, but other than that.......

Thomas, now you have me feeling bad for dissing the toad by comparing it to Madonna

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - 10:35 pm:

"JIMMY'S DEAD, TED STILL TED! do you all know the real Ted? What an American! Rock on Uncle Ted!
