Check your phone bill folks! Got our latest, and tucked away in the "Other taxes and non-basic fees" is a "New service provider third party billing" for $12.95 per month for "ID lifeguard credit protect/repair Mthly" from ILD Teleservices.

Upon checking into this unauthorized charge I find they get your name & phone # off the internet, credit cards, inquiries about products etc. This is actually a form of identity theft!
When I talked to a Verizon billing consultant she was very defensive and embarrassed over this and promptly connected me with the ILD company direct since I couldn't get through! Now it will take 2 months of billing for this until we get proper credit back. How many people will not even notice this on their bills? This shows what corporations can do allowed to run slip shod without enough regulations!

For Michigan's 173rd birthday, I am praying for more jobs, more business, more resources, and most important, taxing the rich and helping the poor.

Hey, Charlie!! The 2000 photo says "Mail Delivery in Lake Linden". I think that is
Franklin Street in Florida Location. Am I right?

Debi - our original notes say that this is Jim Drew (Mary's husband) delivering in Lake Linden. I don't know how accurate that is,but I have always thought it was in Lake Linden. Maybe Mary would have a better idea.

Debi is absolutely correct, that 2000 mail delivery picture was taken looking down Franklin St. in Florida Location (Laurium). I had just assumed it was my hubby, since the original note said, "Mail delivery goes through in Lake Linden." But after Debi questioned it, I did some investigative work, consulting delivery experts Postmaster Todd Sarazin, in Lake Linden and Postmaster Dan Zubiena, in Calumet. The consensus was unanimous for Franklin Street. Thanks for setting us straight, Debi! :->
