Oh, I'm loving these shots this morning. Nice to see the older ones. The Lake Linden one happened the year I was born. And I love the ore boat and train one with the old bridge in the background. Good stuff!!! I like the butterfly too.

I was home on leave in 1952 when I took the
picture of Lake Linden. When you look at the
buildings and not the road, not much has
changed.

While Deb was being born, I was loosing my appendix. Both of us at the hospital in Hancock. Or at least thats what I remember.

Wonderful pictures! With the approach of the new school year, I'm
back to being koskintoronto again rather than koskintheUP. How
fortunate I am that I can look at Pasty Cam every day for a much
needed fix of the UP. Thanks Charlie, Mary and the rest of the Pasty
Cam crew.

The thing I noticed in the Lake Linden picture is that balcony is gone. I like those old balconies.

The butterfly pic is especially nice.

I agree with you, Kosk, I'm really far away from the UP, but Pasty is where I get my Michigan "fix"!! Thanks to you, Charlie and Mary most of all, but also to the rest of you who live so close to God's country and share so much of your experiences in that area. I really enjoy all the input!! May there always be a Pasty.com!! :)
