In the last eleven years on this day, which Pasty Cam picture had no snow?

Thanks Charlie... I had to watch it twice to make sure the 1915 pic had snow for sure. I'm sitting here with my three buddies. The sun isn't up yet but Tampa didn't get to sleep last night and I barely got any either. So getting the early bird helps me to get started. No groundhog shadow here yet :(

Thanks for the honorable mention! After staying up late (for me) to watch the game, that's more of an accomplishment than you might guess!

Kurt Warner of the Cardinals a Cedar Rapids, Ia. star, you make Cedar Rapids, Ia. proud! Thankyou!

Good morning! That was a trick question, right Charlie, lol?

Kurt Warner is wonderful! He should have been the MVP even though they lost. I've loved him since his days with the Rams. I'm so happy he performed so well. The Steeler's defense is great and he didn't buckle under the pressure. I just wish they'd have won.

Hi you all! I had forgotten that this week is Michigan Tech's Winter Carnival. Congratulations, Theresa, on your Early Bird!

I was just looking at Tech's web cams. It looks like you all are having an almost blizzard up there. It looks like it is snowing really hard!

When I lived in Houghton for a year I decided to walk down College Avenue to look at the snow and ice creations. I got as far as the statue of the miner- as you enter Houghton- and a white-out came out of nowhere and I could not see my hand in front of my face. I waited for a few minutes and turned around and made my way back to Burger King. Of course Burger King is no longer there. I did see the fireworks display, which was AWESOME. That was the first time I ever saw fireworks in wintertime. Anyway, it was fun just the same. ;O)

Nice Memory Lane pics + the 2 by Barb. The icicle pic reminds me of my house when they form.

A lot of snow on the ground here in the Knoxville area. Up North in KY.folk's having it rough with power out for some day's now. Hope to hear from some of those who post here soon from KY.

Kentucky is in a rough patch, so to speak. Their Governor called up their ENTIRE National Guard this weekend, for the first time in their history, to try to deal with all of the downed trees, power lines, etc. They have asked our new President to declare Kentucky a major disaster area, but the last I heard, there had been no response. They have said that for at least some in some rural areas, it may be weeks before power can be restored. In addition, some of the municipalities could not even pump water to homes because of the power outages. The last I read, they did not have enough shelter space for those who were told to leave their homes because of no power and no heat, etc, so they were hoping people could go south to family or motel rooms, if they could afford it. And the list just goes on... All in all, it sounds like an awful situation. And, my kids have wondered why I would much rather have snow than ice, sigh? Kids!

David H, I hope they can restore your parents' power soon.

I have no family in Kentucky Marrianne. When I use the term folk's I mean all the people who are without power. I guess being down here as long as I have been starting to speak and write as such. But then many from back home used folk's instead of people, but folk's is best used when talking of Mom and Dad. There are some of our Pasty family in KY. who have not posted in many day's,and I am wondering about them folk's, waiting to hear from them if they are okay.
