Happy New Year.......my grandfather, C. Arthur Anderson, did surveying for Detroit and Northern in the western end of the U.P. in the '60s. He always had interesting stories to tell....and found many a good trout stream to test as well.

It seems strange to not see 1998 included in our decade and to see 2008 included.

Mary says: It seemed strange to me, too, Deb. But when you look back in the Archives, Pasty.com wasn't even in existence until March 1st, 1998, thus the absence of 1998 photos for now.

Good morning everybody! Hope you all have a swell start to the new year. I see there were a couple of years that were pretty snowless. Nice!!

I enjoy these memory lane photo pics. The ones from 2007 and '08 are especially nice.

Here I am thinking of posting a belated Happy New Year to all of you - only to realize that depending on place, it's not all that late yet.
