Breakfast biscuits and gravy - From Hollidays
You have to try it!
1 lb Jimmy Dean hot sausage, fry it till golden brown, breaking it up into small pieces.
Add. 1/4 cup butter, fry till butter is disolved
Stir in 3/4 cup - 1 cup flour, stir well till flour is disolved
Slowly, pour in 3 - 3 1/2 cups warmed milk
Stir till thickened
Add 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes
Turn heat down to low, cover and cook for one hour, stirring once-in-a-while.
Pour over Pillsbury Grand Slams or your choice of biscuits and enjoy.
