Can you believe it will be November on Saturday?! Seems like it was June yesterday. Are you ready for the ghosts and goblins who will come around on Friday? My 16-year-old daughter and her friends are dressing up for school on Friday as a farmer and a bunch of farm animals. I have never before seen a 5'9" duck.

Good morning, and a frosty one for here only 20 F Last evening the phone rang and it was a friend asking if we will take this chicken. She and her son was behind this truck full of chickens and this little one fell out. I have chicken's but not any this small, about the size of a softball. Will have to fatten it up before it can go in with them.

Awww, how sad. Some mother hen is wondering what happened to her baby. Frosty down 'old home way', huh, David? We lived in east TN for a few years, so I know how beautiful the trees must be about now.

Yikes, didn't get that cold here. We have been very lucky this fall.
