By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 07:33 am:

I see the name on the home page, but it doesn't say anything about Chassell. You're one smart dude, RD!!!

Okay, have a great weekend everybody.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 08:48 am:

Yeah, but you have to click on the name, don't you? How would you know which name to click on?? And RD's from Iowa for crying out loud!!!

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 08:57 am:

Hey Deb S. I'm from Iowa too,...but we are allowed to leave Iowa to travel to the U.P. lol! Made it our vacation spot many, many times, especially in winter for the snowmobiling!

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 09:31 am:

A few years ago my buddy Harry, his daughter, and I were at the Cut River Bridge when she decided to go down the steps. So Harry and I followed. What a mistake. Going down wasn't too bad. Coming back I thought they would need to have Rescue One come and get Harry and I back to the top. That brat ran up the steps and we held onto each other to finally get to the top. Weak knees, heavy breathing, kind of like the first date with Precious. Not as satisfying. Would never recomend the steps to anyone over sixty.

GO BLUE

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 12:32 pm:

If you drive a little bit past the Cut River Bridge, you can walk right to the beach instead of taking the steps. BUT! if you have kids or grandkids who want to take the steps, I guess you have to take the steps ;O)))
We avoided the steps.

Weak knees and heavy breathing...was your first date the hike up to Bare Bluff? :)

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 12:40 pm:

Now I know how it got the name.

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 03:55 pm:

Alex, I will have you know there was no bare anything that night. And if there had been I would be gentleman enough not to tell. Now that I am older I have week knees going up the stairs to the shower. It has been a long time since I have been breathless and palpating heart about anything.

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 08:08 pm:

I got my DVD today from Neils Fall Colors today and we watched on the computer and we loved it. We just loved it. :O)))

By Ken ja Mimi from da UP (Kenjamimi) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 09:58 pm:

Hei Mikie, Better get some fitness stuff going, man. I've been reading a book called YOUNGER NEXT YEAR. It's written by Chris Crowley and Henry S. Lodge, M.D. My mail order pharmacy sent it to me, no charge. I think they're trying to tell us all something kinda important. "From the trenches, a real practicing doctor teaches us that normal aging is NOT normal. Harry's Rules light the path to renewed vitality, and his action steps will change your life." by Mehmet Oz M.D. You know who Dr. Oz is don't you?
