Garden, I think

Good Morning! Good answer, Dick in FL. I had no clue, and had to sneak a peek at today's really fun fall pictures to find out the answer! To be honest, I had never heard of the Garden Peninsula before. I love to learn new trivia. :-)

Dont know if it is just mine or not but only the 1st two pictures are loading and the header for 2000 and then nothing? Charlie??

Another great selection of photos today. Between yesterday and today, I felt like an addict waiting for my UP photo fix.
I'll be checking into the pasty.com rehab unit if that happens again.

I went out yesterday, early, to try and get some pictures of different things. I am not that good with my digital camera just yet, so what ever I took a picture of with my digital camera, I also took one with my other camera. Iam going to have the digital ones done today.

The fall colors are so pretty this year. We went to Mt Bohemia yesterday and I think my camera may explode. Now that its lunch time I must upload to my pasty gallery.

Seeing all these wonderful photos these days on pasty.com makes me even more anxious for my vacation next fall. I think I've made the right decision to go there then, than rather in the summer as I usually do. (sigh) now comes the waiting.......autumn is almost an addiction for the sense. Now if I was only on a H.D.or Goldwing! wow!

C'mon MsKatie, go buy yourself one of those custom 3-wheeled H.D. or Goldwing trike with a pull behind trailer custom built to haul your luggage. You will understand why my personalized plates on my XL883L reads "ARRIBA"! "WOW" personalized plates were already taken in Iowa. LOL!

Arrived back in Mishawaka, IN after spending 10 days in the UP. I really didn't want to come home.

One of the most interesting things we saw on this trip happened in Marquette. While wave watching at Presque Isle Park a '53 Chevy entered with two surf boards on the roof. I told my husband to follow that car. We ended up spending at least an hour and a half watching the peolple surfing Lake Superior. Don't know how they stood being in the water even with their wet suits on.

The highlight of the trip was dinner with a former student of mine and a person heard from at this web site. Actually reconnected through Pasty Cam. It was great getting to met his wife and daughter and spend the evening with them. They live in a beautiful area.

Now it's back to the grind. At least it's not back to school.

Janie T....my dear I'm just too and out of shape for something as adventureous as a bike, even a 3-wheeler. I can barely walk to the post office on the next block. But I can dream and remember those days when I rode on the back of a Goldwing back in the '80's! This is a biker's town on weekends and I just love watching the bikes and people out on Main St. Talk about people watching. Thanks for the encouragement any ways. Happy riding! Maybe you can someday come down river to Savanna and we could meet!
