Richard Barclay was up bright and early recently and was treated to the moon setting over Lake Superior. Quite a sight this made with the waves building underneath the supervision of that bright orange orb. I'm sure glad he decided to share it with us.

I have to relate a cute story, pertaining to this photo. My 22 month old Grandson is fascinated with the moon, so much so, that when it begins getting dark in the evening now, he looks out the window and says, "Nigh-night, bubble." Which in his baby talk, means "It's night time and the moon should be out." When he does spot it in the sky, he gets quite excited and chatters away about "Nigh-night" and the "Bubble." So while I was working on preparing today's photo, he spotted it on my computer screen and crawled up into my lap to see the "Bubble." The grin on his face and the excitement in his little voice was priceless. So folks, I hope you all enjoy Richard's bubble as much as Alexzander did! :->

"Good morning", another awsome picture. Time to start this old truck up and try to make a little money to pay the bill's.

Seems I am not the only person up this early. Good Morning to all.
Through the eyes of a child comes the excitement and the pure innocence of life. :O))

By Donna (Donna) on Monday, October 20, 2008 - 06:22 am:

Reminds me of a heart-warming story....One time, several years ago, was babysitting my Grandniece, Madison, and we were laying in bed, looking out the window at a full moon, and she says "Auntie Donna...see the moon?" and I said "Yes" and she said "It's so beautiful. I wish I could save it for my Mom".....

The little Moon Goddess....just love her to pieces.

Happy Monday!

One of my boys used to say "moons on!" when he saw the moon out in the evening.

The Moon was gorgeous last Tuesday night! The bubble was so huge that it looked like you could reach out from a hilltop an burst it with a pin. Todays picture is lovely as grandkids. Good Morning, have a great start to the week.

By Richard L. Barclay (Notroll) on Monday, October 20, 2008 - 09:43 am:

Thanks for the story, you made my day. I have that picture as my background and when pasty.com came on the screen I was confused as to how it had shrunk and stayed in the center? Took me a bit to figure it out. Should have had more coffee.

I think David had something like "homesickness" in mind - That was a Pasty Pie in your eye! Now if it hit your mouth that'd be AMORE.

I see the moon, the moon sees me, down through the leaves of the old oak tree, please make the light that shines on me, shine on the one I love.
Is that the song, Dave?

I had a good day so far. I helped my boyfriend fix a fence for an elderly lady who lives by us and I made a pot of chili and now I have the last load of laundry in the drier. It is a good day.

Looks like the picture might have been taken at Oliver Bay or Point Isabelle, Great shot though, wish I was there right now!

HeleninHubbel, I've told you how many times, quit watching the Detroit Lions, it's bad for your health! lol... hope you feel better!

By David Hiltunen (Davidcorrytontn) on Monday, October 20, 2008 - 03:37 pm:

Yes those are the words. This nice man who took the super Moon photo Mr. Richard L. Barclay (Notroll sent me all the woords to the song.

My son also loves the moon. Sunday morning he looked out the window and told me the moon was still high in the sky, they are so intelligent!!
