In 1999, it looks like Santa vacationed in the UP.

Summer time and the living is easy. Not as many post's this time of year. I got caught up with everything here on Pasty I missed being away from it for some weeks. The Church picture today from 2000 has a Do Not Enter sign beside it. Can't it be moved someplace else, maybe more people would come in then?

Got caught up on my e-mail too, and would like to thank ( Bill in the Copper Country ) for his note to me on my Pasty Post's. I'd write back but dumped it before I could re- back to you. Wasn't it grand for Russ & Syl to have gone back to the Copper Country after 23 years? It has been 6 years since I been back home. Others too I bet don't get back up there like we used to. Come on people we should not stay away that long. If we start going again it will help put a dent back in the economy we been taking away from them.

Thanks once more for this site. Because it has once more put me back in touch with someone special from up there from many years ago this week. A great perk to go along with every thing else this site has to offer. I am sure it has happened to many.
