Good morning! I'm thinking that sunset swim was a little chilly!! BRRRRRRR!!!

I'm with you Deb...I get goosebumps just looking at that water. There is NO way you would get me in that drink. I'm not generally a swimmer, mostly a wader and a parader...unfortunately, I have to stick to the wading these days because I have nothing anyone would want to see parading... :-(

It was probably bath time, in the summer when I was a kid it was a swim or a sauna for bathtime. Which was much preferable to my mom scrubbing my knees and then realizing it wasn't dirt it was a tan.

By Tom (Tom) on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 - 11:46 am:

Brooke, how could you prefer a swim to a sauna? I assume the evening swim was later in the summer when the lake water was warm. What lake?

By Brooke (Lovethekeweenaw) on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 - 12:00 pm:

Tom, where we swam depended on where we were. If at Grandmas it was a sauna if at home a pool, if at the other Grandmas in the lake. I don't remember the name of the lake but it was near Peterboro, Ontario.

Calvary Cemetery is where my Dad is buried. We visited it on our last trip to Copper Harbor which is getting to be too long ago.
