By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 06:28 am:

Good Morning, Everyone, from frigid mid-Michigan, where it is currently 15. (I missed that temperature drop in the weather forecast, somehow.) Congratulations, Paulwebbtroll, on your Early Bird. Go Chemics, and good luck in the Big Game today!

By Theresa R. Brunk (Trb0013) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 06:35 am:

Good Morning from Tampa, where we are experiencing a heat wave again, 82º predicted for today. :( Send some of that cold weather south Marianne, I would Love some.

By Richard Johnson (Dick_fl) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:01 am:

Me too Theresa. It is hotter that HE double hockey sticks right now here in West Palm Beach. A little bit of cool would be nice or a lot of cold and snow would be heaven.

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:07 am:

Why live there if you are going to complain about the weather? I never could figure out why any one would want to live somewhere with only two seasons, oh yeah here we have cold and construction.Guess I should keep my mouth shut.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:44 am:

LOL, Mikie. That's funny, but true (not the keep your mouth shut part, though)!

By Erica - Florida Keys (Erica) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:47 am:

Mikie, the change of seasons here in the Keys is subtle but, after 30 years,I have come to recognize them. Winter is easy to recognize because of the influx of tourists.Spring is when all the vehicles with out of state licenses are headed north. Summer is when Miamians head for the Keys.Autumn is when everything is very quiet, visitors are few and the Overseas Highway has nominal traffic. As long as I can travel UP and stay awhile,I am happy.

I think that thing is on the porch at the Eagle Harbor store. You can't tell what day it is though.

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 11:30 am:

Erica The sun is shining and the sky is blue here in Berkley. Cold and fridgid, Andrea the Irish dancer is at a Feis in Chicago and is dancing at this time. Hope she does good. She sprained her ankle about three months ago and told us it is bothering her right now. Joseph and Tim are spending the weekend with us and have destroyed the house. They are having a good time. Dani was worried since this is the first time she has left them for an extended time. As usual I have caught a cold, never had them until I got old. Now it seems I have one all season long. Maybe I should go back to Jack Daniels for my cold medicine, I felt better till the morning.

By Snowman (Snowman) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 05:13 pm:

Hope everyone survived "T" day. I ate so much that I show up on radar. In fact, I gained so much weight over Thanksgiving that my scale this morning said, "To be continued." Sigh, and I'm still hungry.

By Erica - Florida Keys (Erica) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:05 pm:

Mikie,I hope Andrea danced well in spite of her problem with her ankle. It sounds like you will be plenty busy this weekend with Joseph and Tim. Maybe a little nip of JD would be just the ticket.... I use to live in Berkley...back when Oakshire was 2 muddy lanes divided by a grass median and grandly called Oakshire Blvd. I like Berkley.

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 11:55 pm:

Andrea had a problem with her ankle and she didn't place. Heart breaking for all of us. I take her to her dance practice when they are to busy to do it. She is a trooper tho and will be dancing her heart out when she gets home. Erica I have paved three different roads here in Berkley, as soon as I would move in they decided to pave. I have a lot invested in this town. Emma and Jack have joined Tim and Joseph staying here and a few minutes ago the two three year olds Emma and Joseph just had a marshmello raid on the pantry. I scared the h*** out of them and they went running up the stairs thinking I was behind them.

By Erica - Florida Keys (Erica) on Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 12:11 am:

Mikie, make that 2 nips of JD...sounds like your'e going to need it!

By maija in Commerce Township (Maija) on Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 09:02 am:

Mikie: take 500mg of vit C twice a day and one cod liver oil capsule daily. Keep on the JD to kill the buggers.

By maija in Commerce Township (Maija) on Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 09:03 am:

the germs, not the kids!

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 09:36 am:

I am real cautious about washing my hands. I keep those hand wipes in the van and use them as soon as I get in the van, but I still got a cold. I have to watch it since having my lungs punctured last summer. So Maija thanks for the advice about the JD and the pills but with the kids around I am going to get sick no matter what I do. Breakfast is over and now Justin is cleaning up the dining room and telling his mom about the latest crime wave in Farmington and how his crew managed to stop the bad guys in their tracks. I am hoping the sugar will tire out the kids since they were up till around two this morning. With my luck it is going to be the oppisite. Joseph didn't want the homemade syrup went to the pantry and came back with the store bought kind says the other is yucky, so naturly the rest had to have the store bought kind and here I thought I was giving them a treat by sharing some of my special syrup. I had to have peanut butter on mine since Justin went to the docs with me and heard about how my sugar was.
