Eight years ago, Jonathan Hopper took this shot of the registration process at Michigan Tech. I recall, back in the day, standing in line with punch cards to drop and add classes. The person sitting at the table used chit marks to know if there was any room or not.

So, if you really wanted a class, you got someone to stand in front of you in line with a drop card. That person goes through, a chit mark was added to the "drop" side and, voila, there is now room in the class for the next person in line.

Today, students do all their registration online at the computer of their choice and it is much tougher to buck the system.

It's a real nice warm bright sunny day here today.Hope it is where you are too. A friend is on the way from Chicago,should be about a hour.

Am not worried about anyone stealing her from out in the pasture.The fence is electric and the Chihuahua's patrol the perimiter (You Guess what day's) and can make it to the gate in 6.2 seconds. Can you? And besides, she is high maintence,spirted and can kick some butt with them thunder thighs of hers.She knows which side her bread is buttered on.No need for me to worry,she knows I could trade her in for two twenty year olds.

Yes. I checked out the profile when I saw the 11:07 post but the only picture I saw was the one of his wife with the grand baby but then I read all the other stuff about Mr Ed. and the thick glasses and a different body on her face, I just didn't know what to think until I got to the 6:45 post when he said who it really was.

Hey Dave H in TN. "Mita Kuulu?" We just got back from China to see our oldest son Jim who moved there way out in the country! It's cold and snowy there too! Lot's of neat birds there. Real BIG electric plants there. He can see a real big one from their house. I think the biggest electric plant in the world! (non-nuclear) -- copy that? (nice trip too)

Hello Russ,good times fishing in China I remember.
Enjoy the snow, I realy don't miss it much.I could have used you earlier to ID Barbie in her swim suit.I can no longer put that photo up on there, she came home and (busted)me!So I put back on the baby and her.
