It is statue building time at Tech. This shot from eight years ago reveals plenty of raw material for the builders of 1999. This year the pickins are slimmer, but the students are making the best of it.

I have a question that is a little bit off-topic. I have been looking at the Eagle Harbor web cam today:

Why is there a donut hole of what looks like open water, surrounded by snow & ice? I must be missing something. Is that a deep hole, surrounded by shallow water, or something?

Joanie, God love you :) I'm sitting here with a mountain of paperwork on my desk...the weight of Michigan police officer domestic violence victims on my shoulder...worrying like heck that I can do right by these victims...putting in 20 hours days on this computer, while wishing there were more hours in a day...and stressing like no one's business, that my work pays off for victims.

And then I clicked on your profile picture...and I laughed...and laughed...and laughed...and for that matter, I'm still laughing. Thanks girlfriend....I needed that. (((((((HUGS))))))

So Joanie your picture looks kind of familular. Did we date in the sixties? I always liked the native girls. Is this an old picture or a new one? Still smokin yes.I do enjoying it.Have quit for as long as six months afew times.Never been a heavey smoker, but I should shed some extra lbs. It's still legal in this state and realy cheap as my brand is $1.89 per pack.But thank's for the good eye,now I must check my mouth and hands to make sure it's only a cigarette before i post it.I better put a new one up right away,sure don't want to pass on 2nd. hand smoke and stunt your growth like in Joanies new Pic.
