How can your posting time be earlier than when the picture of the day is posted?

Boy those were the days. Sledding with a pal.

My twin cousins used to have a big wolf hybrid called "Tinney" that would pull all three of us on a sled. Then for fun he would pull my boots off and bury them in the snow!

Dashamo, I too have had a posting time before the picture. You just go in and click on February, and all of the days in February will come up. You just click on what day it is and you can post a message. Go Sasha Cohen! What a performance! And Kimmy and Emily looked great too! I do love figure skating.

A question:
I have dial-up service in the Copper Country with ( I am embarassed to say ) another ISP. Yesterday, during the Pastycam server work, I noticed that my POP3 mail was not working. Could it be that my Calumet dial-up number is actually on a pasty server?
And where do I go for the details and prices of the faster services?

The interruption on Pasty.NET was yesterday from about 6:30-6:45 am. Unless your email address is @pasty.com, @pasty.net, or @northpines.net, this did not effect your connection. On the other hand, non-members miss out on the high speed HotSpots, DSL, discounts on tune-ups, local support, and other benefits of being a Pasty.NET member. Email me for more info.

We all know here in FINLAND that USA is very HARD!!! But soon it see.. .

I think what we're all thinking about those early first posts is that it ruins the "thrill of the chase" when our "last night's posts" become today's (even though they're after midnight). Am I making sense? I think we should have to wait until the pic of the day is posted, and then the next post is the early bird. It makes it more exciting for us! I know, I need to get a life!

I agree with you. To keep checking for the new picture and then try to hurry up and post is what made it challenging. I thought that was the way it always was until recently. So I could actually go ahead to February 28th and be the early bird for that day? Maybe I need to get a life too.

I'll throw in my two cents. I cheated once :( (just to see how it felt to be the Early Bird). Then Thumbgardener scolded me and (I'll admit) I felt really foolish.
So, you won't hafta worry about me doing that anymore. I hope it wasn't me that ruined the 'game'. :(

Marsha and Thumbgardner, I agree...it's all in the thrill of waiting for the picture of the day to post. There has been many a night that I am busy working on my computer, into the morning hours... and I love being able to catch Pasty Cam, as soon as the day's picture is posted, so I keep checking the site every so often. Gives me a break from all this paperwork, I guess, eh.

Happyooper, Nope, you didn't ruin the fun...early posts before the picture is posted, have happened before ;) So don't feel foolish.

Love the pic of the doggie pulling the kiddie in the sled. Reminds me of my companion dog...and how the kiddies have used her to pull thier sleds back up the sled hill. They have also used her to pull them around the block on their skates and skate boards.

Hey guys, Didn't mean to spoil the thrill of the chase. Somebody told me how to get on before the picture was there and that's how I knew how. I only do that when I'm on my way out to work and want to say good morning to everybody. I like waiting for the picture too. Japei: I guess there will be no miracle on ice this year. Congrats!!!

I remember when I caught you that time. Then I felt bad because I didn't want you to be an unhappyooper. You admitted to cheating so that makes you an honest cheater. Does that make sense? Have a good night everyone.
