That's the former 'pasty girl' Becky with her head showing above the snow toward the left of the 'Blast from the Past' picture, and her husband Bryan on the right. They spent the holidays here in the Keweenaw, and returned to their home to Salt Lake City last night, returning safely about 1am this morning.

Hope everyone had a great time over the Christmas/New Year's break. It was fun having everyone home for a while.

Morning! Another gray and gloomy day, The sun has not been here in nearly 2 weeks. A "Gloomy Gus" spell we are having!

By WishingIWasInDaUP (Sur5er) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 11:24 am:

...and the search for the sun continues, as we enter week two without a sighting. If this keeps up, it won't be too soon, before the missing sun will be posted on milk cartons.

By lz (Llamamama) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 11:47 am:

Thanks Sur5er for a well needed chuckle! I think the lack of sun here in SW Michigan is getting to me as well.

Afternoon All.

Belated HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the Pasty.comers. Thanks to all of you for a great year of pictures and comments. Looking forward to an even better year in '06' with the expansion on the area covered by wireless and the new facilities at the HUT. Enjoy the day everyone!

By Margaret, Amarillo TX (Margaret) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 02:47 pm:

Oh, oh, I think I know where it went. Sorry Sur5er

By Theresa, Colorado. (Theresa) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 04:18 pm:

I am sorry too Sur5er... It is just like Spring here in Colorado. Missing on Milk carton... you silly nut.

By WishingIWasInDaUP (Sur5er) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 05:51 pm:

Llamamama, Well it looks as though we have caught the sun stealers, red handed...Theresa and Margaret...who would have thought. ;) If this keeps up, we'll have to put an APP out on the sun. "Large, bright shiny orbital thingy in the sky...last spotted in Texas and Colorado."

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 - 06:21 pm:

Nobody in Toronto stole the sun either. Maybe
it was Louhi Witch, that rascal from the
Kalevala. She stole the moon too. Haven't
seen the moon since last week either, come
to think of it.

I think perhaps help for those looking for the sun might find help right here on pasty.cam (if the shiny pix and talk aren't enough for you:)) - just ask flyinindamooney for a ride!
