With summer waning and fall just around the corner, you have to get out and take advantage of the beautiful days when they come along. That’s just what Debbie Jarve did this week. Check out the blue sky and clouds she found amidst all the sunshine. She told me that she loves clouds and so do I. It’s another calming bonus of living where the sky is unencumbered by all the big city buildings and other distractions. You can just sit back and watch the clouds passing by, picking out shapes and formations that they make along the way. Kind of like stopping to smell the roses, stopping to watch the clouds slows you down and refreshes your day.

We join Michigan Rocks for an agate hunt at Vermillion Point, near Paradise, MI. Rob and Sam spend a beautiful day on the beach looking for elusive Lake Superior agates. They find quite a few and some other nice rocks too. Grab a cup of coffee and sit back comfortably for this just over 15 minute rock hunting excursion.

Bob was up throughout the UP last week on his
Harley and enjoyed these clouds and blue skies as

The video was a nice mini-vacation. This is one of
the very few times Mom & I were not able to make it
up north for Labor Day. Our vacation home is on Lake
Huron and each beach walk includes picking up
interesting rocks. I was interested to see Rob
picking up wet ones. I guess if you're going to
polish them, the appearance when wet is what you'll
get. I don't have a tumbler, so I always look at dry
rocks.

Beautiful photos. And my husband can't go to
the beach without looking for agates. Me? I
prefer to just sit and enjoy the view.

Beautiful pics, I believe I saw the same clouds lol. Little chilly last

night, sunny and warming up to the mid sixties today. Seeing some

color change already, enjoy the rest of the Holiday weekend all!:-)
