What a treat we have today with a plethora of rainbow shots from various photographers. The first two come from Brita Haapala over at Copper Country Captures. One over Bete Grise (possibly where the pot of gold is found) and the other I’m not quite sure where here in the Keweenaw, but I love how it’s seeming to come out of the clouds and disappears back into the clouds before it reaches the ground.

The next one was photographed by Debbie Jarve over at Debbie Jarve Photography, on the Houghton waterfront. Beautiful, with a look at the new dock progress near the Portage Lake District Library and then of course the end of the rainbow landing in the middle of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge.

The fourth rainbow was snapped by Nancy Haun who said this rainbow was awesome for a while and then it started raining hard. Nice timing!

Number five was captured by Alicia Reed. The color of the sky gives a different enhancement to those double arcs. Pretty cool how each one of these photos here today, has a different beauty to it.

And last but not least, we have a photo taken by Steph Lebo from her vantage point just above the Traprock Valley Road. You can just barely see the double rainbow, but the way the colors show up as it gets into the trees, simply beautiful!

Leave it to Steve Brimm from Steve Brimm Photography to come up with a video to tie things all together. Check out his Fine Day for a Day contribution. I bet there is an agate or two there, also.

“Rainbows all around, can you find the silver and gold?

It’ll make you old. A river can be hot or cold and you should dive

right in to it else you’ll find it’s passed you by.” (Stills)

Wow!! These are all spectacular
catches. I can't name a favorite because
they're all so good.

Superior rocks.

Rainbow in the morning, shepherd take warning.
Rainbow toward night, shepherd's delight.
Rainbow at noon, rain very soon.
