Shawn Malone and Lake Superior Photo take us to Isle Royale today, for a look at the land and skies that make up this least visited, yet most revisited National Park in the country. Back in 2021, National Geographic named it to their “Best of the World” list. The aerial view from Shawn gives you a glimpse of a few of the 450 islands and 160 plus miles of wilderness trails.

Next Shawn doubles our night sky pleasure with two Aurora Borealis shots with amazing reflections in the still waters. You can even see the stars reflected with the Northern Lights surrounding you above and below. Isle Royale is the perfect place to get the full effect of this outstanding weather phenomenon.
