We end the week with a double-header (yesterday and today) from George C. Bailey. This time he snapped some interesting poses of an Eagle that visited the north shore of the Keweenaw and wasn’t going to let any crows or seagulls get the best of him. I love the expressions George was able to capture in the various shots, you can almost hear the screech of the Eagle and I bet that crow was squawking away, too. I would imagine these birds put on quite a show for George that day.

Jeff Dennis had a show right outside his Little Traverse living room window on the opposite shore of Lake Superior than George is on. His entertainment was a group of deer, though. Jeff commented that the snow is getting soft and the deer sometimes sink when they walk on it. Toward the end of the video, you’ll see one sink down and then back out of the snow.

Hi
A few years ago I went to a nature program called
"Eagles on Ice". It was at Lake Erie Metropark,
where a nearby powerplant keeps some water open in
the winter; the Bald Eagles hang out there, but also
land on ice. The day of the hike it was around 10F,
so there was plenty of ice, and a good number of
eagles.

So majestic! Great shots!

I always love Jeff's photography. What a
great place he has for watching the lake and
the wildlife.

LOVE those pics. Eagles ALWAYS look like that! LOL
And Crows LOVE bugging everything. And is that a
blast to watch.

Speaking of watching....Jeff and crew...you ARE
blessed....NO question there!

Happy Easter to all.

Can't beat these pix! And a nice "Who's watch'n
who?", video.
